Who Answers Your Request

Withcomments Walk-In Tubs does not send out crews. When you make a request, it goes to an independent provider in our network that serves your area. That provider is the business you will talk to, get a quote from and, if you agree, hire. The provider is responsible for the work. Withcomments Walk-In Tubs only makes the introduction.

What a Provider May Ask

Expect a few simple questions. They help the provider judge the job before a visit.

  • What type of bath do you have now?
  • Which option interests you: a walk-in tub, a conversion or a walk-in shower?
  • Who will use it, and do they use a cane, walker or wheelchair?
  • How old is the home, and is the plumbing original?
  • Is the bathroom on the first floor, upstairs or near a basement?

Photos and rough measurements can help. Do not worry if you do not have them yet.

Questions Worth Asking a Provider

You are allowed to ask plenty. Good providers expect it.

  • What is included in the quote, and what is not?
  • Will you check the old pipes and the floor before starting?
  • Who handles permits, if any are needed?
  • How long does the job usually take?
  • What happens if you find hidden damage?
  • How is payment scheduled?

Reading the Quotes

Ask for the quote in writing. Then line up two or three side by side. Look past the bottom number. Check the product, the materials, the work scope and the cleanup. A quote that leaves things out can cost more later. Prices vary by job, so a gap between quotes is normal. Ask why.

You Stay in Charge

You do not have to say yes to anything. You can ask for time, ask for changes or walk away. A request through Withcomments Walk-In Tubs carries no obligation. Protect the home by choosing the provider and the plan that feel right to you, not the one that pushes hardest.
